What is NADPH? Where, when and how is it formed in plants?

Dear student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query

NADPH is Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate

In green plants NADPH is produced as a result of light reaction by ferredoxin-NADP+ reductase in the last step of the reaction . This NADPH is further used to synthesize glucose in the dark reaction.
