What is past and earlier past .
Difference between them.
Please anwer now it's very urgent
Dear Student,
Both "past" and "earlier past" refer to events happened in the time gone by. If we compare these two with respect to the present, an event happened in earlier past is considered to have happened before an event happened in the past. Which means "past" is recent than "earlier past".
In English grammar, the tense forms simple past and past perfect can be used to explain the same.
For example:
I had booked the tickets before they reached at the station.

(A) (B)
Past perfect- earlier past Simple past- Past
In the above example, the event A has happened earlier than event B.
Hope this clears your doubts regarding the same.
