what is perpendicular bisector ?????????

Hi!
Here is the answer to your question.

A line is said to be perpendicular bisector of another line segment, if it is perpendicular to other line and divides it into two equal parts.
The line PQ is perpendicular to another line segment AB and divides it into two equal parts, therefore PQ is the perpendicular bisector of AB.

A perpendicular bisector is a line/linesegment  which passes through the centre at 90degree.

if we bisect an angle of 90degree, it's bisector is 45degree. so it's not important that the bisector will always be a 90degree angle!!!

  • Two lines are said to be perpendicular when they intersect each other at an angle of 900

  • The perpendicular bisector is a perpendicular line that bisects another line into two equal parts.

If a line perpendicular to another line segment divides it into two equal parts, then it is called perpendicular bisector of the line segment.
