Press-byopia is a defect of eye in which the person suffers from both hypermetropia and myopia. It usually happens in old age when the ciliary muscles become loose and the eye lens looses its flexibility. It can be corrected by a bi-focal lens.

presbyopia is a main damage for old people were their eye lens cannot se both near and far objects.these we can see in our grand parents were they tell us to read something's were they cant able to see the object..

Presbyopia : when people find it difficult to see the nearby objects comfortably and distinctly without corrective eye glasses or a person suffering from both myopia and hypermetropia. It arises due to the gradual weakening of the ciliary muscles and diminishing flexibility of the eye lens.
