What is prophase,Metaphase,Anaphase and telophase?

Dear Student

Prophase is the first phase of mitosis, During prophase, the complex of DNA and proteins contained in the nucleus, known as chromatin, condenses.
Metaphase is the third phase of mitosis, the process that separates duplicated genetic material carried in the nucleus of a parent cell into two identical daughter cells.

Anaphase is the stage of mitosis after the process of metaphase, when replicated chromosomes are split and the newly-copied chromosomes  are moved to opposite poles of the cell.
Telophase is the fifth and final phase of mitosis, the process that separates the duplicated genetic material carried in the nucleus of a parent cell into two identical daughter cells
