What is Q = m x c x t ??

Hi,

It is the formula which relates amount of heat lost or gained with the change in temperature
Q=m × C × T
Where, Q=amount of heat lost or gained,
C=specific heat i.e. the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of the body by 1˚C,
T=change in temperature.

Q denotes Heat and m=mass of the body,c=specific heat capacity and t=fall in temperature

So Q= m x c x t means  Heat=mass x specific heat capacity x temperature(theta)
