Sugar whose molecules contain radioactive isotopes of carbon hydrogen or oxygen. Normally sugar made out of C14 or O16 is known as radioactive sugar.

Normal or regular sugar molecules without any radioactive isotopes of carbon hydrogen or oxygen are called non-radioactive sugars.
