what is rhiobiaceae ? process of root nodule formation

Rhizobiaceae are gram negative, rod shaped, aerobic  proteobacteria. Most of the rhizobiaceae species can fix atmospheric nitrogen and thus live in a symbiotic relationship with legumes.
Process of root nodule formation- Plants release certain chemicals from their roots into the soil which encourages the growth of bacteria around the roots. Bacteria then attaches to the root hair through their cell wall. Flavonoids released by root hair cells activate nod genes in bacteria which secrete nod factors that induces curling of root hair. Bacteria then enter the cell through root hair tips and causes infection thread development. Infection thread grows and allow the bacteria to spread to nearby roots. Due to infection and release of nod factors, root cell proliferation is stimulated leading to the formation of nodules.
