What is RTI ?when was it enacted?

RTI or Right To Information is now the right of every citizen of India under which he/she can ask all the governmental agencies to provide any government-related information. Right to information is essential in order to provide a transparency to the functioning of all government departments.
The Right To Information became an Act in 2005.
