what is scraper and skimmer?

A skimmer is used to remove the flotable solids like oil and grease .

A scraper is used to remove solids like Faeces which settle at the bottom of the solids removing machine and then they r removed by scraper.

 A SKIMMER IS USED TO SKIM THE FLOATING PARTICLES ON THE TOP OF THE WATER.

WHEREAS A SCRAPPER SCRAPS THE SOLID WASTES LIKE FAECES SETTLED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE WATER.

Solids like faeces settle at the bottom and are removed with a scraper.this is called sludge..

A skimmer removes the flotable solids like oil an greese ....
