Lippes Loop is a non-medicated IUD It doesnt produce anything. As its a foreign body in the uterus it leads to an immune response. This increases the phagocutosis of sperms.

It is a non medicated IUDs, it only increases the phagicytosis of sperms due to which less no. of sperms are produced and so are less chances of fertilisation.
