what is special about tissues in the heart

The tissue in heart is called cardiac muscle tissue which is a kind of specialised muscle tissue. Cardiac muscle tissue is found only in heart and functions to pump blood throughout the body. No other tissue functions to pump blood, therefore it is a kind of specialised tissue.
