What is the action of dilute hcl on zinc , copper , silver and gold

Zinc is more reactive metal than hydrogen, so it displaces hydrogen from HCl. Zn + 2 HCl  ZnCl2 +H2Copper, silver and gold does not react with hydrogen, as they are less reactive thanhydrogen.

On reacting with zinc there is evolution of Hydrogen gas as in reactivity series zinc is above hydrogen  so it displaces hyrogen to form zinc chloride with evolution of Hydrogen gas.Rest of the metals copper , silver and gold do not react with dillute HCL.
