What is the circumference of a circle of diameter 1.06 m with correct number of significant figures???
Answer given in the book is 3.33m but I think it should be 3.3 as the radius would be 0.53m, so the result should contain 2 significant figures as the number of significant digures is least in radius.

Dear Student , Diameter of a circle = 1.06mradii=0.53circumference = 2πr=2×3.14×0.53=3.3284mThe following rule applies for multiplication and division:  The LEAST number of significant figures in any number of the problem determines the number of significant figures in the answer. so answer would be =3 mRegards
