What is the difference  between a ray and a line segment?

 Hi............. Ray starts from a point and goes infinite but a line segments has its end points.

Line segment is a line joining two points and,

Ray starts from a point & never ends.

LINE SEGMENT=IT HAS 2 END POINTS.

RAY=IT HAS ONE END POINT.

LINE SEGMENT HAS 2 END POINTS WHEREAS A RAY HAS ONLY 1 END POINT  

line segment is a line that has two end poites and ray has onlly one end poite and the other side of ray is end less

 The ray has only one fixed point and it's other end is neverending, but the line segment has two fixed points. Therefore, the measurement of a ray cannot be taken but the measurement of a linesegment can be taken.

 Ray starts from one point and go endlesly to the other direction but line segment is having two points and does not go endlesly to any direction.

RAY_ Ray has one end point.

LINE_Line has no end point.
