what is the difference between atmosphere, hydrosphere and lithosphere

Atmosphere is the air that we see around us. It consists of various gases. They are oxygen, nitrogen, carbon-di-oxide, neon, etc. Human beings take in the oxygen from the air around them. This process is called inhalation. They give out the carbon-di-oxide from their body. This process is called exhalation. At the same time, the plants around us take in the carbon-di-oxide from the air and give out oxygen. That is why, we should grow more and more plants. The atmosphere consists of a layer called the ozone layer. The ozone layer absorbs the harmful ultraviolet rays from the sun and thus protects the human life. But now-a-days the ozone layer is getting thinner and thinner. Around 71% of the surface of the earth is occupied by water. This is called the hydrosphere. The hydrosphere is made up of oceans, seas, gulfs, bays, straits, lakes, etc. all taken together. Around 29% of the surface of the earth is occupied by land. This is called the lithosphere. All these three forms together form the biosphere. We find living things in all these spheres. We find birds in the sky, fish in the water and human beings on the land.

The “sphere” in lithosphere, atmosphere, and hydrosphere means envelop. Theatmosphere, therefore, consists of gases that envelop the Earth. The hydrospheredefines the water that covers 71% of the Earth's surface. The lithosphere refers to the rocks of the Earth's surface and upper mantle, or the depth of the plates.

Atmosphere is the layer of blanket that surrounds the earth . the atmosphere consist of ( from below to top)
1)Troposphere
2) Stratosphere
3)Mesosphere
4)Thermosphere
5)Exosphere

Lithosphere is the Earth's Outer layer that includes crust and upper mantle . Organisms such as plants , animals including humans etc , exist in the lithosphere

Hydrosphere is the mass of water present on the earth . Organisms such as Aquatic plants and animals exist in the hydrosphere
