What is the difference Between axion and theorem
Dear Student,
Axiom is a statement which is logically true but it cannot be proven but it is self evident. For example, a line can be extended infinitely. We cannot actually prove it because infinity itself is uncountable. But it is a fact that line can be extended infinitely.
Theorem is a statement which can be proved using other theorems, axioms or some logic. For example Pythagoras theorem.
