What is the difference between budgetry deficit and fiscal deficit ??

Budgetary Deficit refers to the excess of total budget expenditure over the total budget receipts. In other words, budget deficit implies to a situation where the total budget receipts of the government falls short of the total budget expenditure of the government.

Budgetary Deficit = Total Budget Expenditure  –Total Budget Receipts

On the other hand, Fiscal deficit refers to the difference between the total budget expenditure and total budget receipts of the government, other than the borrowings and liabilities. That is,

Fiscal Deficit = Budget Expenditure – Budget Receipts (other than borrowing and liabilities)
