What is the difference between cheap jacks and street traders

Dear student,

Cheap jacks are petty retailers who keep on changing their business from one locality to another. They have independent shops of temporary nature in a particular locality. They deal in consumer products and provide service to consumers in terms of making product available wherever needed.

Street traders are small retailers commonly found at the place where huge population gathers, as bus stands, railway station. They sell consumer items of common use but they do not change their business place too frequently.
