What is the difference between delta x/delta t and dx/dt ?

Delta signifies the small change in a variable or quantity. Eg. Δp means change in the momentum. 
Here, ΔxΔt = small change in positionsmall change in time interval
where, dxdt represents derivative of x with respect to t.
