What is the difference between episodic and semantic memory?
In Episodic Memory you tend to remember your memories in the form of episodes. For eg: You'll remember how you celebrated your birthday last year in the specific routine. Like first your parents wished you,then you got calls, then you went out with your friends etc...
Semantic Memory means that you remember something cause you remember its meaning. Like a concept or a formulae. You remember the meaning of the word "psychology" cause you've understood it. You sometimes remember words of some foreign language cause you know their meanings.
