what is the difference between exudation and guttation?

in exudation the water droplets appear on the tips of the leaves. this is the reason dew drops are seen during the mornings. in guttation the water droplets ooze out of the stem. this occurs due to absorption of water in excess.

Loss of watery sap from the cut of injured parts of a plant is called exudation of cell sap.
Loss of water in the form of droplets form the margin of leaves through hydathodes is called guttation.

Guttation means the loss of water due to low rate of evaporation when excess water collects in roots or stem due to the phenomena of root pressure (significant for water movement up a plant) . Whereas , exudation is a process of emission of fluid through pores due to which Guttation takes place....and mainly guttation and exudation is the same thing it is when exudation is said in scientific terms we call it as guttation!!
