What is the difference between Hydrotropism and geotropism. ?

Geotropism Hydrotropism
The growth movement in plants that occur in response to a gravity is called geotropism. Any growth movement in a plant that is stimulated by the water concentration are called hydrotropism.
Example- plants roots generally grow in response to gravity and  their growth is towards the gravitational pull. Example Roots are positively hydro tropic.
Root geotropism is more influential than the root hydrotropism. Hydrotropism is less strong, as the water stimulus is not so much influential directional factor as gravity

Hydrotropism is the growth of a plant towards water whereas geotropism is the growth of a plant towards gravity. though both are shown by positively by roots of a plant, they are different.
