what is the difference between intersecting line and parallel line ?

 

Dear Student!

Two or more line that meet or cross at a point are called intersecting lines.

Example:

In the given figure l and m are two intersecting lines intersecting at P.

 

and the lines which never intersect are called parallel lines the distance between parallel lines is same are the lines and is denoted by the symbol .

Example:

In the given figure l m.
