PROCEDURE :
1) procedures are sequence of steps to be followed for performing some important jobs.
2)procedures are more rigid
3) procedures help in implementation of policy
4) for example : procedure for giving admission in school or giving contract to an outside agency.
METHODS :
1) methods are formalised way of doing a routine and repetitive job
2) methods are less rigid or flexible
3) methods help for standardisation or coordination of activity
4) for example : methods of valuation of stock or method of production.
