What is the difference between monochromatic and polychromatic with their examples

Monochromatic light:
Light consisting of an only single wavelength and having the same phase throughout is called monochromatic light.

Example: yellow light from sodium is monochromatic light.

Dichromatic light: Light consisting of two wavelengths and have two different colors.
Example: white light emitted from a torch
