Perpsin:

1. It is secreted from the gastric glands of stomach.

2. It is secreted in inactive form called pepsinogen.

3. It acts on protein and converts them into proteoses and peptones.

4. It catalyses in acidic medium.

Trypsin:

1. It is secreted from the exocrine pancreas.

2. It is secreted in inactive form called trypsinogen.

3. It acts on proteoses and peptones and converts them into polypeptides.

4. It catalyses in alkaline medium.

1)pepsin catalyses in acidic medium whereas trypsin catalyses in alkaline medium.
2)pepsin is secreted by gastric gland whereas trypsin is secreted by pancreas.
3)pepsin is secreted in stomach and trypsin is secreted in small intestine.
4)pepsin is secreted in inactive pepsinogen, trypsin is secreted in inactive trypsinogen.
5)pepsin acts on protein and converts them into peptones and proteoses whereas trypsin acts on peptones and proteoses and convert them in polypeptides
