What is the Difference between perpendicular and perpendicular bisector ?

Perpendicular:
A line is said to be perpendicular to another, if the angle between these lines is 90°. In the following figure, the lines l and m intersect at P.  At P the angle between these lines is 90°. Therefore, these lines are called perpendicular lines.

Perpendicular Bisector:
A line is said to be perpendicular bisector to another line segment, if the line is perpendicular to the line segment and it bisects the line segment as well.

In the following figure, line PQ is perpendicular to AC and bisects it at H.
