What is the Difference between racism and racialism?

Racism means discriminating people on the basis of their colour, culture, customs, appearance etc. It is developing negative attitude towards someone just because he/she seems to be a bit different. 

Racialism is the understanding that racial groups do exist. It is acknowledging that different races came up under different circumstances and so they are different from one another.

While racism is more about individuals and is not an opposition towards any group, racialism is related more to a racial group.
