what is the difference between self pollination and cross pollination?

Dear Student,

@ Priya:

Self pollination: It occurs in bisexual flowers. It is of two types:
Cross pollination: It can occur in both unisexual and bisexual flowers.
In this type of pollination, pollen is transferred from the anther of one flower of one plant to stigma of another flower of another plant.

Cheers!!
