What is the difference between the radial symmetry and spherical symmetry

Dear student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query

Spherical symmetry: In this type of symmetry, two identical halves are produced when the body is cut through the center of organism. It is found in Volvox (Algae).

Radial symmetry: In this type of symmetry, body parts are arranged on a single main axis at the center of the body. Any plane passing through the central axis divides the body into identical parts. It is found in coelenterates, echinoderms and ctenophores.
