what is the difference between the tissues and vascular system
Dear student,
Tissue system is the organisation of different types of tissues. The structure and function of tissues vary depending upon their location in the plant body and therefore, it is of three types as follows:
Appendages that is the trichomes and hairs are formed by epidermal tissue system.
Vascular tissues are the specialized tissues of vascular plants that perform conducting function inside plant body. These tissues have mainly transport function and transport water, nutrient, minerals etc from one part of plant body to other. They are of mainly two types: Xylem and Phloem.
Hope this information will clear your doubts about topic.

No. | Tissue system | Tissues present |
1. | Epidermal tissue system | Epidermis, trichomes, hairs, stomata |
2. | Ground tissue system | Parenchyma, collenchyma, sclerenchyma, mesophyll |
3. | Vascular tissue system | Xylem, phloem, cambium |

Xylem | Phloem |
It is responsible for transportation of water and mineral salts from roots to the leaves. | It is responsible for translocation of glucose to difference necessary parts of a plant. |
Cell walls are very hard. | Cell walls are relatively soft. |
It consists of dead complex permanent tissue. | It consists of living complex permanent tissue. |
It consists of tracheid, vessels, xylem parenchyma and xylem fiber. | It consists of sieve tube, companion cells, phloem parenchyma and phloem fiber. |
