what is the difference between wings and feathers

Feathers are the soft material that almost completely cover most birds. It is also known as plumage. The feathers give the bird its colour. The wings are the part of the body that make the bird fly and control the speed and direction of which the bird is flying. The wings also contain muscle and bone unlike the feathers and the wings actually covered by feathers along with the rest of the bird.
