what is the different between radial and conjoint
Hi Saseendran,
Radial Arrangement | Conjoint Arrangement |
The arrangement is said to be radial when xylem and phloem are present in alternate manner on different radii | The arrangement is said to be conjoint when xylem and phloem are present in same radii Such arrangement usually has phloem located outer to xylem. |
Radial arrangement is generally seen in roots. | Conjoint arrangement is generally seen in stem and roots. |
Hope you find this piece of information useful,
Cheers!!
