what is the function of plasma?

Plasma is the liquid portion of blood. It transports nutrients to the various parts of the body in the dissolved form and also carries wastes materials generated in the various parts of the body to the excretory organs to be excreted.

actually plasma have no particular function but it helps in floating of RBC's,WBC's,platelets,etc.
