3 Secretion: The sebaceous and sweat glands present in the skin provide lubrication, help in maintaining proper pH, and also are significantly important for providind a physiological barrier against pathogens. 

4 Excretion : Some amount of salts, water and waste products are excreted in form of sweat via skin.

5 Sensation: Skin is supplied with nerves that can detect various parameters including touch, pain and temperature etc.
