What is the impact of inflation on investors and savers

Dear Student,
Inflation affects both investors and savers in the sense that due to inflation the interest rates will fall and as a result what ever the money invested will also fall. This is because in case inflation the money value falls and it will ultimately falls the interest rates and once the interest rates fall the investors and savers money value also falls. The money that savers and investors have will hold low value in the market.

I think the answer will be Inflation erodes the pricing power and is the consumer's greatest enemy. Inflation hurts consumers more than savers. Most investors get lured in by the nominal rate of return, and do not look at the real rate of return. Inflation erodes their savings silently.
