What is the impression you form about the speaker i.e, the rain?

In the poem, 'The Voice of the Rain', rain rises up from the land and the bottomless seas as vapour, ascending upwards to heaven in a vaguely formed state and then it changes altogether. It seems to remain the same in nature but its character changes. This cycle is eternal, with the next part being its descent towards the earth after having condensed around atoms of dust particles. This precipitation brings rain to the earth and nourishes the living organisms which would not have flourished without it. It purifies and nurtures the earth and its inhabitants having risen from that very surface. The speaker or rain seems to be a creature of benevolence and selfless sacrifice as the personification of this natural phenomenon makes it out to be.
