What is the major problem faced in fish farming. How can it be overcome?

A major problem in fish farming is the lack of availability of good-quality seed (fish seed). To overcome this problem, ways have now been worked out to breed these fish in ponds using hormonal stimulation. This has ensured the supply of pure fish seed in desired quantities

THE MAJOR PROBLEMS FACED FISH FARMING IS LACK OF AVAILABILITY OF GOOD QUALITY SEEDS. THIS HAPPENS BECAUSE THE BREEDING PERIOD OF MOST OF VARIETY OF SEEDS IS MONSOON. DUE TO THIS SEED GETS MIXED AND QUALITY OF SEEDS GETS DEGRADED.

The major problem faced in fish farming is that fish do not breed all the times in the year
the breed only in the month of April and May.This does not provide us with an adequate
amount of fish required of use like dining, fish oil production etc..,so the farmers are not completely profitable,
hope this answer is helpful :)..
