What is the meaning of linkers

Dear Student,
Linkers are a set of words that are used to connect phrases or sentences. Hence, they are also called conjunctions.
E.g. I am dancing. She is playing. => I am dancing and she is playing. 
E.g. and, but, because, yet etc
