What is the meaning of the 1st sentence

Dear Student,

Plants occur in distinct groups of communities in areas having similar climatic conditions means a large ecosystem will have different types of vegetation, different groups of plants. And these different types of plants are influenced by differences in relief, in soil, differences in climatic conditions and they vary from area to area.
The climatic condition leads to variation in the soil which is suited for different types of plants and crops growth. Therefore, we witness diversity from tropical evergreen forests to thorny bushes, from Equatorial rain vegetation to Alpine vegetation. We may also give examples of pine and fur trees which are only found in cold regions, similarly, areas with a high amount of rainfall have more dense vegetation.

Regards,
