What is the name of stage B

Dear Student, Stage B represents -Penetration of sperm in the egg. Soon after Sperms come in contact with the ovum, only one out of many Sperms successfully able to fertilize it. The initial step is peretration of sperm in the egg, all other process happens later. Fertilizin and the antifertilizin reaction reduce the chances of polyspermy (multiple fertilization or multiple entry of Sperms). Regards
