What is the ocupation of delhi?
Dear student,
I am assuming the question to be what is the main occupation of the people of Delhi?
Delhi is the capital of India which is one of the most versatile states or union territory. Delhi, with a length of 51.9 km. and a width of 48.48 km. and nearly 18.6 million populations based on 2016 estimation is a very important state for all kinds of administrative functions. The service sector contributes to major economic output in Delhi. All the high officials, government administrative bodies, important decisions are held in Delhi. It is observed that many of the people are engaged in the tertiary sector, especially in government offices. Most of the people choose occupations in government sectors like doctors, engineers, social workers, etc. After the surge of the 1980s, manufacturing industries have been also developed. Though people are engaged in manufacturing industries too, the main occupation of the people of Delhi is related to trade, public administration, finance, community works, professional services, personal and social services, etc.
Regards
