ARCHEOPTERYX or the REPTILIAN BIRD was the first bird or  can be said the first reptile to fly in the sky. Organic Evolution refers to sequence of events involved in evolutionary development of a species , hence through Archeopteryx, one can study the evolution of the birds i.e AVES.
