what is the work done by earth's gravitaitonal force in keeping the moon in the orbit?

The work done by the earth's gravitational force in keeping the moon in the orbit is zero. It is because the earths gravitational forces attracts the moon towards itself , but the moon moves in its own orbit.As the force (gravitational) and the displacement of the moon is not same, therefore no work is done and hence it is zero.
