Facilitated diffusion is the diffusion of hydrophilic molecules across the cell membrane facilitated by special transmembrane transport proteins. Some carrier protiens allow the passage of two types of molecules together. Uniport involves the independent movement of molecules across the membrane i.e., the direction of movemnet of one molecule is independent of the other.
