What is use of gay lussac's law in our day to day life

Dear student,

Gay Lussac law states that at constant volume, pressure exerted is directly proportional to temperature.
Some real life examples are:
  • When a bullet is firedWhen gunpowder burns, it creates an enormous heat is produced which results in high pressure behind the bullet causing it to explode.
  •  A burning automobile tyre. The heat from the burning rubber will cause the air pressure in the tire to increase and cause the weakened tyre wall to explode.
