What is velocity
Dear student,
Velocity is defined as the rate of change of displacement. It is a vector quantity. Thus, velocity gives us information on the speed and direction of the moving body. In fact, speed is the magnitude of the velocity.
For Example, A truck is moving at a 70 km per hour towards the North describes velocity of the truck.
