What is vermicompost?

Dear Student,

The product which is obtained by the breakdown of organic materials (plant and animal wastes) with the help of red worms (like earthworms) is called as vermicompost. This process is called a vermicomposting. The vermicompost is enriched with nutrients and serve as a useful soil conditioner.
