What is Wharton's jelly??

Dear Student, Wharton's Jelly is is a gelatin like substance present in Umbilical Cord. It is mainly made up of mucopolysaccharides like hyalouronic acid and chondroitin sulphate. It is derived from extra Embryonic mesoderm and contains fibroblasts and macrophages. Regards
